NINGXIA's Folk Instrumental Music¡¤¡¶Rhythm from Hui Folks¡·
    Ningxia, on the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River in western China, enjoys the reputation of ¡°Iush southern¡ªtype fields beyond the Great Wall¡±. Through assimilation of the culture of the Central Plains area and the Western Regions and development of the resultant local culture, Ningxia has produced many musical instruments and much music. The album includes melodies created by local musicians based on folk songs about the harshness of the desert and on the scenic water regions of southern China. They reflect the longings of the Hui people of Ningxia and their aesthetic concept.
QINGHAI'S Best Folk Music¡¤¡¶The Verve of Qinghai Lake¡·
    Qinghai Lake, also called¡±West Sea¡±, is a vast expanse of misty, rolling waters. Surrounding it is a land of lush vegetation grazed by herds of sheep and cattle. This magic land is inhabited by people of numerous ethnic minorities who have created a unique culture with distinctive characteristics and colorful folk songs and dances. The songs and music in this disk are a revelation of emotions and aesthetic pursuits of the people in Qinghai Province.
The YUNNAN Minorities Best Instrumental Music¡¤¡¶THE COLORFUL YUNNAN RHYTHM¡·
    Varilus styles of ethnic music have been created by the 26 ethnic minority groups that live in Yunnan Province, southwestern China. Tunes and styles vary among various ethnic groups, localities and individuals. The melodies on this album represent all of them, reflecting the distinctive characteristics of various ethnic groups and their rich flavor of life.
