Brief Introduction：
The Lion Dance is a unique form of folk art in China.
Although there aren' t any native lions in China,
lion culture and the lion dance are popular all
over the country.
Chinese Lion Dance introduces the skills and characteristics
of southern and northern lion dances. The subtle
southern lion dance demands great dexterity, while
the majestic and impressive northern lion dance
mounts even the clouds and rides the mist on a soul-stirring
journey. These dancers walk on highwires. Both dances
are explored in this show.
