Brief Introduction£º
Marco Polo traveled in China for 24 years. China
was a land rich in legends woven with with silk
and gold. He brought many rare treasures unknown
to Europeans back home, and told them stories about
Chinese porcelain.
Starting from this story, this show highlights national
porcelain treasures such as black porcelain, Jun
porcelain, Yaozhou pottery, Jingdezheng pottery,
purple pottery, and porcelain carvings. It also
includes among the most important innovations in
decorative porcelain like Crystal-color porcelain,
which was invented in the 1990¡¯s. This style looks
like brocade from one angle, and velvet from another.
The vivid images buried inside this porcelain change
depending on the angle by which you appreciate them.
