¡¶Chinese Folk Music¡·

Brief Introduction£º
On Chinese New Year Day in 1998, the Austrian Vienna Golden Hall-one of Europe's historic music halls-- welcomed the Chinese Central Folk Music Group for the first time. Since then, the ¡°Chinese Folk Music Concert On Spring Festival¡± has become an annual event in Vienna. All over the world, Chinese folk music has won applause because of its distinct style. Using in-depth research, this program introduces not only the history, development and various styles of Chinese folk music, but also uncovers the Chinese sense folk music represents. In this program, you will appreciate unique musical instruments such as the Xun-a wind instrument, and the Gong-a drum and plank. Each instrument has its own sound and timbre.
