People can clearly see the expression and gesture of these animals and human figure. And this bronze item has the shape of the Chinese character, Shan(mountain). People are wondering: what sort of item is this bronze? A weapon, farming tools or ritual item? But the most surprising discoveries are the three large boats and two small ones. Throughout the world, only ancient Egyptians had the custom of setting boats in their tombs, believing these boats would carry their souls to an afterlife. But for Zhongshan people, their living surrounding did not have any water route. What did these boats stand for to them? Did they have similar belief as the ancient Egyptians?
