Peking opera is the soul of Chinese
culture. For the over 200 years since Anhui opera
actors came to Beijing, in the background of the
combination of north and south culture and the clashes
of the current economic development, Peking opera
has maintained its attractions and traditions, generation
by generation.
The modern life will be compared with the traditional
culture in the stories of these two kids¡¯ learning
opera.
One of them is the daughter of laid-off workers,
and the other is the son of farmers. Why would they
let their children learn opera? And how they manage
to lead their life? And what will the kid do in
front of the colorful world?
The documentary is an attempt to answer the above
questions. The characters¡¯ life and thoughts will
be recorded, reflecting the contradiction faced
by these kids.
