    Modern dancing, the same with ballet, originating from the west, was not introduced into China until the late 20 years. But since the dancing art is not popularized in China, many ordinary Chinese mix modern dancing with hip-hop and others.
Beijing Modern Dancing Troupe is the first private troupe in China, whose founders are a couple. The husband is the president of the troupe and the wife is Gao Yanjinzi, a famous dancer and choregraphist in China¡¯s modern dancing circle. Gao Yanjinzi is among the first generation of modern dancers that have been formally trained. She has produced many excellent modern dancing pieces, including Red and Black, Sunflower, Four Happiness, etc.
She has made the Chinese people understand and accept modern dancing, and world see the rapid development and achievement of modern dancing in China. She has combined her life and the art naturally. While she is successful in her career, Jinzi leads a happy life with her family members. The documentary is targeted at the artist, who understands the life very well. She will lead the audience with her into her ordinary life and the spiritual world within it.
