Brief Introduction ：
The Hani people mostly live in
the vast mountainous area between Ailao Mountain
and Wuliang Mountain, which is located between the
downstream area of Honghe River and Lancang River
in Yunnan province. For over one thousand years,
there was barely Chinese documentary witnessing
all the things happening in this mountain. And for
a thousand years, the Hani people had tied their
lives to the terraces. The women of the Hani people
are the soul of the mountain. And they are the major
work force in the agricultural production. The development
of Hani societies is not balanced.
By describing the everyday life of the Hani women,
the documentary focuses on the internal spiritual
temperament of the nationality, in order to translate
the particular humanist meaning of the Hani terrace.
