Yili
Brief Introduction：
Ku Laixi's skill in making musical instruments was
handed down by his family for generations. He makes
Uygur musical instruments in Yining city. Since
he was a little child, he has learned from his father
about how to make all kinds of musical instruments.
He is bent on pursuing this handcraft and has made
numerous exquisite Duta'rs and Tanbo'rs. Following
Kulaixi's story as he makes Uygur musical instruments,
this program depicts colorful portraits of Yili
people, their romantic music and deep love of life.
