Brief Introduction：
The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is located
on the main route of the ancient Silk Road, where
historically, eastern culture has met with cultures
from the west. This area boasts vast, mysterious
landscapes in high mountains, glaciers, lakes, and
the Gobi Desert. This area is also praised as the
"Home of Singing and Dancing" because
dancing seems to be the art of every ethnic group
that lives there. Sainaimu, Kalajiuhela, Maixilaipu,
Aken Playing and Sing are all characteristic singing
and dancing styles in Xinjiang.
This program is a musical documentary about the
folk customs, landscapes, and folk dances of this
province.
