our experience in the Nelson island
was one of the most pleasant. There lived this old
Czech man and a little girl, Danisha. The life of
them was full of legends. To build a zoology station
at Nelson island was the most remarkable achievement
of the old Czech. However Danisha¡¯s dream was to
play with penguins all day long. She had learnt
all skills of survival training.
Danisha returned her country before we left the
South Pole. What impressed us the most was her huge
traveling bag, which was filled with garbage she
picked up during her time at South Pole.
