Brief Introduction£º
Characterized by the saying "The river as the silk belt, the hill as the jade hairpin," the Lijiang River in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is regarded as the one of the most beautiful and rare water sources in China. Many natural Chinese landscape paintings are made in the likeness of its graceful waters. Rising above either side of the river is a continuum of unusual peaks. The area includes the Karst Landform and is populated by many minority tribes. This area has been praised as "the best view in the world" for thousands of years.
This program focuses on the water route from Guilin to Yangshuo. By the time the show is over, viewers are sure to appreciate the true meaning of the saying: "One hundred miles of the Lijiang River as like one hundred miles in an art gallery."
