Brief Introduction£º
Lijiang is on the southeastern edge of the Qinghai Tibetan Plateau, in Yunnan Province. The area covers a total of 2.06 square kilometers. Lijiang sits high in the northwest and low in the southeast. It is famous for its location at the first bend of Yangtze River.
This area is very rare geographically and spans a range of 4581 meters. The weather in this area varies according to its drastically different regions and latitudes, including subtropical, temperate and freezing temperatures. One amazing thing about this area is the special culture of Naxi people and the splendid history of Dongba culture that lives there. Lijiang has been listed by UNESCO in the World Heritage Review.
