Kurle is the only city
in the Xijiang Uygur Autonomous Region that has
a river going across it. This river is called the
Peacock River. 84-year old Abudu is living beside
the river. He is the first vice-director of the
Bazhou Singing and Dancing Group. He is retired
now and spends most of his time writing songs. These
few days are busy for the Abudu's family because
the Rouzi Festival-a traditional Muslim festival-is
coming soon.
