There are only three
boys and one girl studying in the Maonan Primary
School in Jingyang Village, located in Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region. Sharing one big room, they are
separated into three grades. The local government
moves the class to the foot of the mountain because
they have such a small water supply. There the children
are transferred to the central school in town, but
there are still four families who don’t want them
to move down to the foot of the mountain. At last,
their parents allow them to go to school. Although
they have to walk two days down the mountain, these
children are still happy to experience the world
below.
