BEIJING, Sept. 21 ,2007 -- Delegates representing over 200 radio and television rights-holding broadcasters from around the world will gather in Beijing next week to finalize details about the broadcasting plans of next year's Olympic Games.

The right-holding broadcasters will also be briefed during the Sept. 23-29 meeting by the Beijing Olympic Broadcasting Co. Ltd (BOB) on areas such as transport, accommodation, technology, accreditation, media operation, and ticketing to broadcasters, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Games (BOCOG) said on Friday.

BOB, financed jointly by BOCOG and the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), is responsible for producing and distributing television and radio feeds of the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics.

It is estimated that more than four billion viewers and listeners will enjoy the Olympic competition through TV and radio broadcasts.
