The National Indoor Stadium will open to the public for its first game on Nov. 28, 2007. It will serve as the venue for Artistic Gymnastics, Trampolines and Handball events during the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. The venue, one of the best sports facilities in Beijing, can be used for sports competition, cultural and entertaining purposes, and will serve as a multi-functional exercise center for local residents after the Games.
