Grand opening of the evening party for the Olympic venue constructors

(BEIJING, September 19) -- Up to 10,000 workers of the Olympic venues were treated to a grand music party at the Olympic Sports Center Stadium on Wednesday night, ahead of China's traditional Mid-Autumn Festival (September 23) and National Day (October 1).

They enjoyed the dance and song performance by many art stars. Sponsored by the Media Commission of the Chinese Olympic Committee in cooperation with the municipal government of Jintan city of Jiangsu Province in east China, the performance was specially assisted by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).
