(BEIJING, December 28) -- The application period for the second phase ticket sales for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will end on December 30. The Beijing Olympic Ticketing Center kindly reminds the public of this deadline.

December 30 is the official start of the three-day New Year public holiday in China. A source of the Bank of China said a small proportion of the Bank's branches would not open for business because of their holiday arrangements. Ticket buyers should consult the public notices posted at the Bank's outlets, or call the Bank's service line (95566) for information. Those outlets that will operate normally will stop accepting ticket applications at 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2007.

The Official website of the Beijing Olympic Ticketing Center will terminate the handling of ticket applications at the end of Dec. 30 (12 midnight).
