Paralympic Torch Relay Route announced at one-year countdown

(BEIJING, September 4) -- The one-year countdown to the Paralympic Games -- one of the milestones in the run-up to the 2008 Paralympic Games -- will be celebrated Thursday night at the downtown China Millennium Monument.

World famous movie star Jackie Chan will "fly solo" during the celebration -- performing "We Are Ready" -- the theme song to the One-Year Countdown of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.

During the celebration, the route for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Torch Relay will be announced.

International Paralympic Committee (IPC) President Sir Philip Craven will present Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games invitation letters to various National Paralympic Committees (NPCs).
